The greatest players in the game have always been attracted to the famed Sandbelt layout to test their skills. Since the early founders, the course and its members have weaved a rich tapestry of history.
The history and feel of The Victoria Golf Club is one that is unique and certainly one that is to be experienced. Victoria now holds its place in the top 10 courses in Australia and the top 100 of the world.
The club is currently seeking a full-time Golf Operations Assistant to join the Golf Operations team.
Reporting to the Director of Golf, the Golf Operations Assistant will be a part of a team striving to provide world-class experiences to members, guests, and visitors of The Victoria Golf Club.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Assist the Head Teaching Professional with the delivery of Coaching Programs in line with PGA Associate regulations
Provide exceptional Member experience in line with the Club’s values
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation of the Golf Shop
Assist with Golf Shop retail, merchandising and inventory control
Assist with competition and timesheet management
Provision of outstanding service to members and guests
Assist with Golf Club repairs
Assist with the management of the Club Golf Cart fleet
Annual progression through the PGA Membership Pathway Program
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Golf Shop in line with the Club’s policies and procedures
The Ideal Candidate would possess the following skills :
Understanding of golf competitions and administration systems (MiClub and SwiftPOS)
A passion for providing excellent customer service
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Organised, punctual and reliable
Excellent presentation and professional standards
Flexibility on working days including weekends and public holidays
Understanding of and commitment to the principles of EEO, OH&S and ethical practices
