The Devilbend Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course in Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsula, the club provides 7-day public access and services to approximately 700 members. We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Casual Golf Operations Assistant. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers, including answering phone calls and booking services.
- Process customer purchases efficiently and accurately, including point-of-sale operations and cash handling.
- Assist the team with restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and Golf Professional.
Criteria:
- Friendly and easy-going attitude.
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new situations.
- Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Golf knowledge preferred but not essential (Use of MiClub System Advantageous)
- Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, and lift light to moderate weight (e.g., golf clubs).
- This is a casual position with flexible hours.
