Job Description:

Job Description:
This position maintains the outside areas, assists with receiving and loading cars, completes golf cart deliveries to commercial and residential customers. This role also ensures proper charging of inventory golf cars both inside and outside the building, moves inventory golf cars around the property, washes and prepares rental golf cars before delivery and after return, and assists with miscellaneous labor tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Keeps outside areas and warehouse areas clean and organized. Trims landscaping as needed, sweeps and cleans, pickups and disposes of trash as needed.
- Properly Loads golf carts according to safety standards and completes delivery of golf carts, parts, and other miscellaneous items.
- Assists with receiving incoming cars, including tagging and putting away cars, chargers, and parts.
- ·Assists with loading, unloading, and securing cars onto JAI delivery trucks and transfer trucks.
- Assists the Parts Dept with unpacking, packing, shrink wrapping and moving of parts, tires, new batteries, and junk batteries. Ensures that tires and batteries are properly protected from the elements if being stored outside.
- Assists with parts department receiving and shelving.
- Washes and prepares rental units including light repairs such as decals, windshields, tires, lights, etc.
- Washes and prepares sales units before delivery.
- Ensures proper charging of all golf cars both inside and outside the building, including tagging and labeling.
- Pulls, prepares, and stages all transfer units in advance of next transfer. Advises supervisor of any problems or issues with transfer units as they are pulled.
- Moves golf cars around the property and keeps the car inventory organized at all times.
- Perform light facility maintenance on building such as changing air filters, light bulbs, hanging signs, etc.
- Delivers cars and/or parts to customers and vendors using company vehicle and trailer.
- ·Any other miscellaneous labor tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High energy and fast paced, with an ability to effectively multitask.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and follow a daily and weekly schedule of regular tasks.
- Ability to complete all tasks by the assigned deadlines.
- Ability to wash, maintain, and perform light repairs on golf cars without causing damage.
- Friendly personality and positive attitude.
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting with fellow team members.
- Ability to work well with a team and support all team members with a “Whatever It Takes” attitude and willingness to help others regardless of job description.
- Clean driver’s license, clean criminal record and background check. We are also a drug-free workplace.
