*About Us:* Fairways of Woodside is a public 18-hole golf course dedicated to providing a fun and enjoyable experience for our members and guests. We take pride in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and high-quality service both on and off the course. *Position Overview:* We are seeking friendly, reliable, and golf-knowledgeable individuals to join our team as Starters/Rangers. This position plays a key role in creating a smooth and enjoyable golfing experience by ensuring the proper pace of play, enforcing course policies, and assisting golfers with questions or needs on the course. *Responsibilities:* * Greet golfers and manage tee time flow at the first tee. * Monitor pace of play on the course and politely encourage groups to keep proper speed. * Enforce golf course rules and etiquette in a professional manner. * Provide assistance to golfers as needed (directions, lost items, course information). * Assist with cart staging and cleanliness as needed. * Communicate effectively with the Pro Shop and management regarding course conditions or issues. * Occasional open/closing duties * Assisting with golfer check-in when needed * Represent the golf course with a positive and customer-focused attitude. *Qualifications:* * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and pace-of-play standards (preferred but not required). * Ability to remain professional and courteous in all situations. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
