*Overview* Join our dynamic team as a Golf Pro Shop and Carts Associate, where you'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional guest experiences on our beautiful golf course. This vibrant role combines retail sales, customer service, outdoor work, and event support to ensure every visitor enjoys a memorable day. You'll manage the pro shop operations, oversee cart rentals, and assist with various hospitality services, all while maintaining safety and efficiency. If you thrive in lively environments and love engaging with people of all ages, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and passion for golf and hospitality. *Duties* *Note: MUST be *available *to *work *weekends * * Manage daily operations of the golf pro shop, including processing cash transactions and operating POS systems with accuracy. * Oversee the rental and maintenance of golf carts, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. * Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with equipment rentals, purchases, and inquiries about course amenities. * Support event management activities such as tournaments, outings, or special functions by coordinating logistics and guest services. * Ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all times, including manual handling of equipment and heavy lifting when setting up or maintaining carts and shop displays. * Handle conflict management professionally by resolving guest concerns promptly and effectively. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop area, including stock management and merchandising displays. * Assist with outdoor work tasks such as course setup, signage placement, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. *Experience* * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles within hospitality, resort settings, or outdoor venues. * Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and processing transactions accurately. * Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with physical tasks like heavy lifting and manual handling. * Knowledge of event management principles, especially related to sports or outdoor activities such as golf tournaments or community outings. * Background in conflict management, guest relations, or public speaking to effectively communicate with diverse audiences. * Certifications in first aid or CPR are highly desirable to ensure guest safety during outdoor activities. * Experience working with children or in family-friendly environments adds value to creating inclusive guest experiences.
