Skills and experience you will bring to us:
- Capability to oversee golf merchandising concessions; develops, executes, budgets, pricing, and maintains inventory levels.
- Consistently Manages vendor performance to maximize profitability and achieve financial objectives. Works with NGBA, AGM, and other industry partners to stay current on industry trends. Provides guest satisfaction and maximizes business performance and profitability.
- Demonstrates the ability to train, motivate, and develop golf shop sales staff to ensure effective sales and service performance and techniques and product knowledge including sales contests and education of upselling techniques.
Your knowledge that matters most for this role:
- Preferred member or registered apprentice in good standing with the PGA of America and must maintain this membership in good standing throughout employment.
- Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience with merchandising and retail buying.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
