Golf Course Mechanic

Job Description: Privately owned, 18-hole country club. Looking to hire a head mechanic to maintain a mixed fleet of equipment. (Jacobsen, Toro, Kubota, Club car, etc.) Responsible for record keeping of completed and needed to be done work. Order parts, keep shop organized and neat. Maintain gas, diesel and small engine equipment. 9,000lb golf lift in shop.
Qualifications: Two years of experience as golf course mechanic preferred. Excellent attitude, dependable and highly motivated to prioritize equipment repair, maintenance and daily cut adjustments. Needs to have thorough knowledge of gas/diesel engines, small engine and hydraulic repair. Must be proficient in the understanding of electrical schematics and trouble shooting. Must be able to weld and make modifications. Needs to have thorough knowledge of reel and bed knife grinding plus daily height and cut adjustments. Needs to have the ability to keep the operation moving when the unexpected happens.
Salary and Benefits: Full time, health and dental insurance, 401k plan, paid vacation, sick days. Salary is commensurate with experience.
