*Job Overview* Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course equipment and machinery. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your mechanical expertise will keep our course running smoothly, providing an exceptional experience for our members and guests. We are seeking a motivated professional with hands-on experience in automotive and equipment repair, ready to tackle diverse mechanical challenges with enthusiasm and precision. *Duties* * Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on golf course machinery including mowers, utility vehicles, and power equipment * Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting techniques * Repair diesel engines, small engines, and heavy-duty power systems such as generators and power generation systems * Conduct electrical work including wiring, soldering, electrical diagnostics, and system testing to ensure all equipment functions safely * Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering irons to execute repairs accurately and efficiently * Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and maintenance schedules for all equipment * Assist in the manual handling of heavy machinery parts during repairs or replacements to ensure safety standards are met *Requirements* * Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong foundation in automotive repair and equipment maintenance * Extensive mechanical knowledge of engines (including diesel), electrical systems, hydraulic components, and mechanical systems repair * Experience reading schematics and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting complex issues * Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other mechanical repair instruments * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks associated with equipment maintenance * Knowledge of Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery brands is highly desirable * Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and support staff during repairs * Certification or experience in electrical diagnostics, small engine maintenance, or generator repair is preferred Join us in keeping our golf course operating at peak performance!
