*Overview* Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining the highest standards of course equipment and machinery. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of golf course equipment, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance. Your expertise will help keep our golf course running efficiently, providing an exceptional experience for players and staff alike. We are looking for a motivated professional with a passion for mechanical systems and equipment maintenance to elevate our team’s capabilities. *Responsibilities* * Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on golf course machinery including mowers, greens rollers, aerators, and utility vehicles * Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine issues using schematics and diagnostic tools * Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan * Repair and service power generation systems, small engines, and heavy machinery using hand tools and power tools * Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance logs * Assist in equipment upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and safety standards * Ensure all repairs meet safety regulations and manufacturer specifications while adhering to manual handling protocols *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a mechanic with dealership or service technician background preferred * Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulic components, and power generation systems * Experience reading schematics and performing electrical diagnostics is essential * Skilled in automotive repair, small engine maintenance, and heavy equipment troubleshooting * Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for effective repairs * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently * Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and vendors Join us in keeping our golf course operating at peak performance!
