To strengthen our Greenkeeping Department, we are looking for a motivated Golf Course Mechanic & Greenkeeper who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining both our golf course and our fleet of maintenance equipment.
Your Responsibilities
Golf Course Maintenance
- Daily maintenance and presentation of the golf course, practice facilities and surrounding landscapes
- Mowing, course set-up and general turf care operations
- Bunker maintenance, landscaping and improvement projects
- Assisting with irrigation system maintenance and repairs
- Supporting the Greenkeeping team in all aspects of golf course preparation
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing golf course maintenance equipment
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues
- Carrying out preventative maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability
- Maintaining workshop standards and spare parts inventory
- Supporting machinery purchasing and fleet management decisions
- Working with a modern fleet of mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, sprayers and turf maintenance machinery
- Experience in mechanics, agricultural engineering, landscaping, greenkeeping or a related field
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
- Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems and machinery maintenance is highly desirable
- A proactive and hands-on approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, flexibility and attention to detail
- Driving licence (Class B required)
- English required; German language skills are beneficial but not mandatory
