We are seeking an experienced and professional Golf Course Mechanic to become an integral part of our Golf Course team. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and performance of our golf course machinery while also supporting our greenkeeping team during busy periods. This is a long term appointment and we are eager to attract the right person who would like to work in a rewarding a fulfillling role.
About the Role:
As a Golf Course Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of all our golf course machinery. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment is always in optimal condition, contributing to the overall quality of our 19-hole course (we have a spare hole). This position offers a unique blend of mechanical work and hands-on greenkeeping tasks, providing variety and an opportunity to work closely with our award-winning and well regarded Superintendent.

We are seeking an experienced and professional Golf Course Mechanic to become an integral part of our Golf Course team. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and performance of our golf course machinery while also supporting our greenkeeping team during busy periods. About the Role:
As a Golf Course Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of all our golf course machinery. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment is always in optimal condition, contributing to the overall quality of our 19-hole course (we have a spare hole). Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on golf course machinery, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and small engines.
- Conduct routine checks and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Assist with general golf course maintenance tasks during peak periods.
- Operate turf maintenance equipment as needed.
- Ensure all machinery complies with safety standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Trade in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the maintenance and repair of turf equipment and machinery.
- Experience working with small engines
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driver’s license and own vehicle.
