Golf Course Mechanic – Part Time (0.6) to Full Time
7 Mile Beach Golf Course - Hobart
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Time or Part-Time Golf Course Mechanic to join our Course Maintenance team. The South Course has just opened to very exciting reviews, and we are looking for a mechanic to complement our existing staff.
About the Role
· Service, maintain, and repair turf machinery, utility vehicles, and small plant
· Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel system faults
· Maintenance of precision cutting equipment (training provided)
· Maintain accurate service records and preventative maintenance schedules
· Ensure workshop safety, cleanliness, and WHS compliance
· Support course operations with prompt breakdown response during peak periods
· Due to the nature of the organisation, other appropriate tasks may arise.
About You
· Trade-qualified mechanic (diesel, small engines, or equivalent experience)
· Strong mechanical diagnostics and problem-solving skills
· Reliable, organised, and safety-focused
· Able to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
· Current Driver’s Licence
· First Aid Certificate
