Core Responsibilities
Mechanical / Technical Work
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electric and gas golf carts
- Perform routine service (batteries, brakes, controllers, wiring, etc.)
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and drivability issues
- Prepare carts for sale and delivery (inspection + quality control)
- Safely load, transport, and unload golf carts using truck and trailer
- Plan efficient pickup/delivery routes
- Interact professionally with customers during drop-offs and pickups
- Ensure carts are secured properly to prevent damage in transit
- Keep shop, yard, and showroom clean and organized
- Maintain outdoor areas (trash removal, basic landscaping upkeep, etc.)
- Ensure overall presentation of the business meets company standards
- Mechanical experience (golf carts, small engines, automotive, or similar)
- Valid driver’s license (clean driving record required)
- Experience with towing trailers preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in Florida conditions
- Strong work ethic—this role requires initiative, not supervision
- Dependability and accountability are non-negotiable
- This is a hybrid role: technician + driver + facility support
- Work is outdoors under a carport, not in an AC shop
- You’re expected to take ownership of your workspace and responsibilities
- If you’re looking for a purely mechanical or indoor position, this won’t be a fit
