Our Tennessee State Parks are among the most beautiful parks in the United States. We have an outstanding opportunity to work in a beautiful environment at the Paris Landing Golf Course in Buchanan, Tennessee. The Paris Landing State Park Golf Course is situated on the western shore of Kentucky Lake. Several holes skirt Kentucky Lake, producing a natural balance of rolling land, trees, and water. Hole #12 is a 586-yard, par 5 with an elevated green overlooking Kentucky Lake and hole #4 is a downhill 186-yard par 3 with the lake providing a scenic backdrop. Amenities include a driving range, practice green, golf shop, snack bar, and on-site lodging. The Lodge at Paris Landing offers the comforts of a modern hotel and incredible views of Kentucky Lake, all within the State Park.

We are seeking an experienced Golf Course Manager to oversee the golf operation and ensure the best possible golf experience, while collaborating with other park departments. A valid driver’s license is required for this position.

The salary is based on a 37.5-hour workweek and earns comp time for hours worked over 40 in that week. For more information about the course, visit Paris Landing -

General Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the entire golf operation, including golf programming, golf play, the golf shop, snack bar, and golf course maintenance.
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and supervise all golf course staff and maintain accurate payroll records
  • Responsible for overall revenue generation, cost controls, player development, and increasing the overall profitability of the course
  • Develop, maintain, update, and utilize customer database
  • Lead and inspire employees to focus on the customer experience as a key priority
  • Adhere to and enforce required fiscal and accounting policies related to accurate recordkeeping, payment of invoices, payment card processing, inventories, daily deposits, monthly reporting, etc.
  • Ensure systems controls are in place to safeguard assets, revenues, and resources
  • Maintain course and grounds conditions safely and cost-effectively for the enjoyment of generations to come
  • Class “A” PGA Member or LPGA experience is preferred
Pay: $54,744.00 per year
