A Collaborative and Flexible Environment. 2nd Swing is seeking a full-time Build Shop Manager to lead daily operations, oversee the Build Shop team, and ensure clubs are built accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This role partners with Merchant and Onboarding teams to prioritize work, coordinate projects, and keep product moving. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in leadership, and passionate about the game. This position is a full-time role located in Eden Prairie, MN. Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Build Shop, including large-volume builds and online customizations. Partner with Merchant and Onboarding teams to prioritize work, plan projects, and keep builds moving through the pipeline. Prepare production plans and build lists for large-scale projects. Manage supplies and component inventory, proactively addressing shortages and lead-time concerns. Communicate priorities and expectations clearly while ensuring builds are completed accurately and on schedule. Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable to quality, productivity, and safety standards. Delegate effectively while working alongside the team as needed to meet shop goals. Identify opportunities to improve shop efficiency, accuracy, organization, and turnaround time while maintaining a positive team environment. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of advanced club-building experience or strong knowledge of club-building operations. Experience with club-building and repair processes, including regripping, loft and lie adjustments, shaft work, and swing weight adjustments. Experience with build and repair equipment, including saws, pullers, epoxies, bending machines, and swing weight scales. 2-3 years of leadership or management experience in retail, operations, or a similar customer-focused environment. 2-3 years of experience coaching, developing, and holding team members accountable to performance expectations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. Positive, high-energy attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and development. Ability to work a varied schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends, averaging 40-45 hours per week.
