Golf Manager
A full time salaried position to manage the sales, business, operations and activities associated with HCR Golf Course “The Preserve”.
The manager will work for the HCR General Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- manage the overall daily golf operations and activities
- organize and initiate new and additional tournaments
- schedule and run tournaments (current and new tournaments)
- manage the golf apparel and equipment inventory, ordering, sales and profitability
- manage the food and beverage operations of the golf shop and golf course—this will be done with the HCR Executive Chef and other HCR management
- manage the personnel associated with the pro shop and golf course operations
- work closely with superintendent of golf for growing and maximizing the profitability and sales of HCR Golf as part of the overall HCR by Achieva, Ent. Annual Success Plan
- HCR Golf Manager and department is to operate as an integral part of the overall resort operations
- identify and implement ways to maximize the overall success of HCR
- actively participate in HCR meetings. events and activities
- identify, develop and implement “Stay & Play” and other programs that increases the lodging, restaurant, banquets and other areas of HCR
- actively participate as a member and leader in the HCR management team responsible for the overall sales and profit growth of HCR
- during the winter months the Golf Manager will be redeployed in other departments of the resort
- develop, manage and implement a business plan, budget, structure and activities for increasing the use, profit of the golf course and the overall resort as golf is an important part maximizing the overall success of HCR.
