Chase Resourcing are looking for a Golf Club Manager for our client in a leading links course in Tralee.

It is ranked as one of Ireland’s top-ranked links golf courses. Designed by Arnold Palmer it is a premier golf destination renowned for its world-class golf course, extensive facilities, and warm hospitality attracting golfers from around the world. It has a large and active local membership as well as a significant international membership.

Club Manager Responsibilities:

• Overall Leadership and Management of the golf club.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations.
• Financial management and control of budgets.
• Responsible for the hiring, training, and managing all golf club staff.
• Interacting tactfully with club members and various committees.
• Commercial Management of the club’s substantial revenue streams.
• Development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract revenues and promote the club.

Golf Facilities:

• Working with the course manager and his team to maintain and present both the golf course and practice facilities to the highest standard.
• Ensuring the club adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the management committee to develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the golf club.
• Coordinating with external parties, including suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business, Hospitality or Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in golf club management or similar
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Dynamic business acumen, financial literacy, and I.T. skills
• Knowledge of golf industry trends and best practices
