JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
The Golf Course Manager is tasked with the comprehensive oversight and enhancement of the Golf Club , ensuring that the club facilities, including the course and range, consistently meet elevated standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. In this pivotal role, the manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Golf Club, encompassing contract management, maintenance activities, staff supervision, financial planning, and cultivating positive relationships within the golf club and with external stakeholders.
Contract Management
Education: Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscaping, Turf Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Salary: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month

In this pivotal role, the manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Golf Club, encompassing contract management, maintenance activities, staff supervision, financial planning, and cultivating positive relationships within the golf club and with external stakeholders.
Contract Management
- Oversee the supervision and management of the Golf Course Maintenance (GCM) contract, ensuring compliance with set standards.
- Represent the company's interests and ensure adherence to quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards for all GCM contractor's performance in landscaping, horticulture, and golf course maintenance.
- Ensure proper use of facilities, tools, and equipment provided for golf course maintenance and Enforce preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules for all tools and equipment.
- Liaise with the GCM contractor and users to prevent misuse and negligence.
- Proactively improve technical and managerial processes for service enhancement.
- Identify and implement "best practices" and perform self-assessments for continuous improvement.
- Supervise course maintenance staff to ensure correct and efficient job performance.
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, training, and appraisal of staff.
- Motivate and enthuse staff to maintain a positive work environment.
- Oversee necessary repairs and improvements.
- Provide input into budgets and resources required for course maintenance.
- Participate in the preparation and execution of major revamp and projects/campaigns for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
- Enhance or sustain facilities' performance through effective project management.
- Manage all club events, including kitties, tournaments, and match-plays which includes
- Liaise with third-party suppliers, contractors, and club members.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of safety protocols to ensure zero Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)incidents
Education: Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscaping, Turf Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in golf course management or related roles.
- Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of staff and contract management.
- Familiarity with budget planning and financial management.
Salary: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
