Overview of the Role:

The Golf course superintendent is the one who is entrusted with the maintenance, operation, and management of the Golf Course. Primary goal is to ensure that the course is in excellent condition & providing a high-quality playing surface for golfers. It is his/her responsibility to supervise the daily operations and maintenance of the golf course. Main responsibilities include, operations management, people management, irrigation management, Lakes management and the management of golf course machineries.

What will you do:
• Course Maintenance Excellence: Ensure optimal playing conditions by managing mowing, watering, and maintenance of all course areas including greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers.
• Turf Management: Supervise planting, fertilizing, and pest control on turf, while also overseeing regular maintenance of course machinery and irrigation systems.
• Resource Management: Procure necessary materials within budget, plan renovations, and maintain records of all operational activities to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise employees, emphasizing safety practices and efficient machinery operation, while prioritizing daily tasks and providing expert guidance.
• Quality Control and Communication: Conduct daily inspections, measure key performance indicators, and address any issues promptly. Maintain transparent communication with clients, staff, and management, suggesting improvements as necessary.
• Administrative and Relationship Management: Complete projects on time, manage inventory, track work hours, and coordinate with clients and support teams to achieve customer objectives effectively.
• Required Skills to be successful:
• Minimum Experience:
• 5 years of golf course maintenance experience, including 5 years in golf course or turf management, preferably as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
