Reporting to the executive board members, the pro shop / general manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pro shop and clubhouse, including kitchen and lounge staffing.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Book tee times and cart rentals
• Maintain rental carts
• Order and maintain inventory and supplies
• Organize and run golf league
• Organization and book tournaments
• Hire, schedule and supervise pro shop staff
• Membership communication and social media
• Overall public relations

Qualifications:

• Interpersonal skills – A elevated level of communication and human resource management skill is required to work with both the Board of Directors and employees.
• Organizational skills – proven problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Hard work ethic and flexibility, a multitude of shifts may be required.
• Team Player – Work with all departments and the board of Directors to ensure a great experience for our customers.

• Computer skills – update website, manage tee times, enter handicaps and create newsletters.

Salary:

• Negotiable based on experience

Job Type: Seasonal

Salary: $30,000.00-$40,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
• Retail management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Bow Island, AB T0K 0G0 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Bow Island, AB T0K 0G0: Relocate before starting work (required)
