Golf Manager – Full Time position
Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort is in search of an accomplished and dynamic Golf Manager to spearhead our Golf Operations Department. Situated between the lush Noosa National Park and picturesque Lake Weyba, Noosa Springs is just three kilometres from Hastings Street and Noosa’s famous beaches. With a spectacular 18-hole golf course, world class spa, superb dining, fitness centre and pool, conference and wedding facilities, and spacious self-contained accommodation, Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort caters for everyone.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Club Manager, the Golf Manager will oversee all facets of the Club’s golf operations, encompassing membership services, golfer satisfaction, golf booking system, timesheets management, golf competition events.

Golf Manager – Full Time position

The Role
Reporting directly to the Club Manager, the Golf Manager will oversee all facets of the Club’s golf operations, encompassing membership services, golfer satisfaction, golf booking system, timesheets management, golf competition events.
The Primary responsibilities of the role are:
- Formulate and implement operational procedures, aligning objectives with the Club’s vision.
- Generate regular reports on financial performance, course utilisation, sales and marketing activities, and Human Resources.
- Review course usage regularly, providing recommendations for optimal tee time utilisation in line with business needs.
- Ensure accurate processing of sales, implementing robust cash management procedures.
- Efficiently roster staff, monitoring labour costs within budget constraints and minimising overtime.
- Lead, coach and develop the Golf operations team.
- Competition management.
- Supervise the upkeep and cleanliness of golf operations equipment and facilities, including the organisation of the back-of-house areas.
- Facilitate accurate reservations and booking systems, enforcing Member and visitor entitlements and reporting visitor play accordingly.
- Develop yield management strategies for Member Categories/usage and visitor play.
- Propose policy changes, fee structures, hours of operation, and membership adjustments.
- Oversee and manage key stakeholder relationships with golf instruction professionals.
- Implement standard operating procedures for all aspects of Golf Operations.
- Coordinate plans with the events and restaurant teams for all food and beverage needs, on-course food and beverage requirements, and catering for golf functions.
- Ensure timely communication with members, guests, clients, and Management.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a Golf Manager role in a similar environment.
- Experience with the MiClub booking system, MiMembership and SwiftPOS is highly desirable.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and information.
- High level business professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide a professional approach.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with limited supervision, manage time effectively, exercise initiative and set priorities to work within required timelines.
- Advanced computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in yield management, budgeting, revenue forecasting, capital expenditure, equipment management, and marketing plans.
- A thorough understanding of golf requirements, rules and the Golf Australia handicapping system, coupled with experience in tournament management.
- Ability to work effectively as both a team member and autonomously.
