**Job Overview:**
Wolf Run Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and motivated Golf Course Maintenance Worker. The golf course maintenance will work closely with the Head Greenskeeper to maintain and improve the overall condition of the golf course, ensuring a high-quality experience for our members and guests.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Assist in the maintenance and care of turf, plants, trees, and overall landscaping on the golf course.
2. Operate and maintain equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and other specialized tools used in groundskeeping.
3. Participate in turf grass management including irrigation, fertilization, and pest control programs.
4. Aid in the planning and execution of projects related to course maintenance, renovations, and improvements.
5. Perform routine tasks including but not limited to edging, seeding, sodding, and bunker maintenance.
6. Help with the setup and preparation for golf events, tournaments, and daily play.
7. Uphold and enforce safety procedures and protocols in all groundskeeping activities.
8. Collaborate effectively with other team members to accomplish tasks and maintain the golf course's high standards.
9. Keep accurate records related to maintenance activities, inventory, and chemical applications.
10. Assist in the training and supervision of seasonal staff when necessary.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred.
- Knowledge of turf grass management practices, irrigation systems, and equipment operation.
- Ability to operate and maintain various groundskeeping machinery safely and effectively.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks associated with groundskeeping.
