The Golf Course Maintenance Department at Southern Hills Plantation Club is looking to grow its team. We have an exciting opportunity for a Spray Tech.
$16 an hour, depending on experience
This position is full time with benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401k, and paid time off.
Must possess a current FL Pesticide Applicator License or have the ability to obtain one within 90 days at company's expense.

Job purpose
To spray and pull weeds in the landscape beds located throughout the golf course to maintain a clean and weed free appearance. The Technician needs to wear appropriate PPE at all times. The Technician will also keep inventory of chemicals used and report quantities to the supervisor. The Technician reports to the Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent.

- Responsible for the upkeep of landscape beds.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the chemical room, spray tanks, and vehicle.
- Maintains chemical inventory and spray log.
- Responsible for the upkeep, repairs, and maintenance of the spray tanks used to apply chemicals.
- Spray or pull weeds depending on size, location, variety.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment. Report damaged or worn out equipment to supervisor.
- Maintain a clean golf course and maintenance complex.
- Demonstrate courtesy to all Members and guests at all times.
- Performs other duties as requested.
