Golf Course Maintenance - Summer Students (Highschool & University)

Full-time, Seasonal
$16-18 an hour

Responsibilities/ Duties:

• Responsible for semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work, and performs related tasks as required
• Operates powered equipment in mowing golf course putting greens, tees, and rough
• Operates edger's and trimmers
• Golf maintenance including mowing, trimming, treating turf, maintenance of bunkers, hole changing, hedge trimming and general maintenance
• Performs special projects delegated by management
• Keeps golf course maintenance equipment fueled, oiled and inspected

Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of experience in general landscaping maintenance is preferred
• Ability to analyze and solve problems, efficiently handle duties, work flexible hours as required including early mornings, weekends, and special events
• Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 60 pounds
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• On call
• Weekends as needed
