Golf Course Grounds Crew – Fall Seasonal Position
We are looking for two hardworking and dependable team members to join our Greens & Grounds Crew for the remainder of the season. This is a full-time seasonal position starting as soon as possible and running through approximately mid-November to early December, when our seasonal staff is laid off.
Position Details
We start our days early, but the benefit is that you get out early as well.
During the summer, our schedule is generally 5:30 AM–2:00 PM. As the mornings get darker, our start time moves to 6:00 AM and eventually 6:30 AM.
The typical schedule is:
Working on a golf course grounds crew is an active, physical job with plenty of walking and outdoor work. It's basically getting paid to exercise!
Responsibilities may include:
Previous golf course experience is not required. We are looking for people with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
We will train you on the equipment and proper techniques needed to perform the job safely and correctly.
What We Are Looking For
The most important thing is dependability. Being on time and ready to work when scheduled is extremely important, especially because our workday starts early.
If you think getting to work early in the morning may be a struggle, this probably isn't the job for you.
If you enjoy working outside, staying active, working as part of a team, and taking pride in your work, we'd like to hear from you.

We are looking for two hardworking and dependable team members to join our Greens & Grounds Crew for the remainder of the season. This is a full-time seasonal position starting as soon as possible and running through approximately mid-November to early December, when our seasonal staff is laid off.
Position Details
- Full-time seasonal: 40 hours per week
- Pay: $17–$18 per hour to start
- Overtime: Anything over 40 hours is paid at overtime rate
- Overtime opportunities are available for employees who want additional hours
- Location: Rumford (East Providence)

- Monday–Thursday: 8 hours per day
- Friday: 5 hours
- Every other weekend: Approximately 3 hours on Saturday or Sunday morning, usually finished by 9:00 AM
- Late October: Weekend mornings end, and the schedule changes to 8 hours per day, Monday–Friday

- Walk mowing greens and tees
- Rotary mowing areas that larger equipment cannot reach
- Raking and maintaining bunkers
- String trimming
- Laying and repairing sod
- Leaf cleanup
- General golf course maintenance
- Operating and maintaining various pieces of grounds equipment
- Other tasks as needed to maintain the golf course to a high standard
