Cutten Fields is seeking enthusiastic, hard working individuals to join our Maintenance Team for the Fall 2026 season. The Golf Course and Grounds Department is committed to providing the best possible playing conditions on a daily basis while being responsible stewards of the financial and environmental resources that have been entrusted with. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Greenskeeper is responsible for assisting in maintenance of the golf course by performing semi- skilled work in a variety of areas. * Operate light-duty vehicles, tractors, weed eaters, riding mowers, push or pull mowers, water hoses, and various hand tools including, but not limited to, weed eater, backpack blower, backpack sprayer and water hose; * Safely operates hand tools, light machinery, and sharp tools; * Safely operates riding equipment without assistance; * Safely operates the following motorized equipment on a frequent basis including, but not limited to, trucksters, golf carts, diesel tractors, riding mowers and miscellaneous mowing equipment; * Safely operates a motor vehicle on an occasional basis for the purpose of conducting official duties for Cutten Field; * Assist fellow workers in their duties whenever possible, without neglecting your duties and to maintain and enhance teamwork in order to maximize guest satisfaction; * Other duties as required. Education, Skills & Abilities: * Ability to work independently and as part of a team; * Honest, courteous, obliging and attentive; * Able to perform duties in a safe and diligent manner; * Present a neat and clean appearance at all times; * Ability to quickly learn maintenance, care, and construction of greens, tees, fairways, hazards, bunkers, irrigation systems, and general grounds of a golf course. * Knowledge of and/or the ability to learn basic rules of golf etiquette. * Ability to establish and maintain an effective, harmonious and productive working relationship with other employees * Ability to work flexible hours with some weekend and holiday work required. * Knowledge of and/or the ability to learn occupational hazards and safety precautions. * Must have sufficient physical strength and ability to independently and repeatedly lift, move and carry objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and to repeatedly lift, move and carry objects weighing more than fifty (50) pounds with assistance. * Ability to report for work on time and perform the duties of the job for the scheduled workday. * The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a Turf Management program, or has previous Golf Course Maintenance experience.
