Cottonwood Golf & Country Club is a privately owned 18-hole course located just 15 minutes south of Calgary. We are now hiring *full-time and part-time seasonal turf care team members* for the 2026 season. You do *not* need golf or turf experience to apply. At Cottonwood, you’ll work outdoors, be trusted with real responsibility, and be part of a respectful, supportive team that takes pride in what they do. *What You’ll Gain* By working with us, you’ll learn: * How to work effectively within a diverse, team-based environment * The value of attention to detail and how it impacts member experience * Time management and task prioritization * Clear and open communication with leadership * Workplace safety, hazard awareness, and OH&S procedures * Operation of golf carts, utility vehicles, and trailers * Use of hand and power tools, mowers and rollers * Fundamentals of turf care, horticulture, and equipment maintenance * Hands-on experience with course projects, irrigation repair, and landscaping tasks such as sodding, planting, mulching, and debris cleanup Every task is trained — no guessing, no being thrown in unprepared. *What This Role Looks Like* * Care and maintenance of the entire golf course property * Early morning starts (typical start time *5:30am*) * Outdoor work in varying weather conditions • A structured schedule: *6 days on / 3 days off*, with some flexibility Early mornings mean *afternoons free* and consistent time off built into your schedule. *What We’re Looking For* * Reliable transportation (no public transit available) * Punctual and dependable — showing up on time matters here * Comfortable working as part of a diverse team * Pride in your work and attention to detail * Physically capable of walking, raking, lifting, and performing manual tasks * Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions Experience is *not required* *Perks & Benefits* * Generous golf privileges (with limited restrictions) * Unlimited use of the practice facilities * Pro shop merchandise discounts * Staff food discounts * Company events * A positive, respectful workplace culture Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour Benefits: * Company events * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Store discount Application question(s): * We are located at 88008 226 Ave E, there is no public transport available.
