Golf Course Maintenance Laborer

Southern Hills Plantation Club is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Golf Course Maintenance Laborer to join our agronomy team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the exceptional course conditions and overall appearance of our championship golf course.

Position Details

• Full-Time
• $16–$17 per hour, based on experience

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with daily golf course maintenance activities
• Mow turf areas using walk-behind and riding equipment
• Rake bunkers and maintain sand conditions
• Trim around trees, bunkers, cart paths, and landscape areas
• Assist with course setup, including changing cups and tee markers
• Perform debris removal and general course cleanup
• Assist with irrigation repairs and maintenance as needed
• Operate maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Follow all safety procedures and agronomic standards
• Support special projects as assigned by the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent

Qualifications

• Previous golf course, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
