Jacaranda Country Club in Venice is looking for Golf Course Maintenance staff. Looking for somone that has previous experience on a golf course. *Responsibilities:* - Perform general maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of the property - Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues - Complete repairs and maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner - Maintain the grounds by mowing, trimming, and edging lawns - Perform landscape maintenance duties such as planting, watering, and fertilizing - Clean and maintain garden areas, including weeding and pruning - Irrigate plants and lawns as needed - Operate power tools and hand tools to complete maintenance tasks *Skills:* - Strong knowledge of groundskeeping practices and techniques - Proficiency in using hand tools for maintenance work - Experience in landscape maintenance, including lawn care and garden upkeep - Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area - Familiarity with operating power tools for various maintenance tasks Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Other duties may be assigned as needed. *Qualifications* * High school diploma or equivalent education * The ability to understand directions and operate golf course machinery * Work in heat * Physical Labor * Must have valid drivers license * Must be at least 18 years of age * Golf course experience preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
