Job Title: Golf Course Maintenance
POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Under supervision, works on diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction, does semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work, and performs related tasks as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Safely operates powered equipment in mowing golf course putting greens, aprons, and tees.
- Waters and fertilizes putting greens, tees, fairways, and roughs as instructed.
- Grades and prepares a soil plant bed, lays sod, plants vegetative material, and seeds putting greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
- Changes cups on the greens and moves tee markers as instructed.
- Maintains ball washers, water hazards, and bunkers.
- Safely operates light equipment in hauling materials and removing debris.
- Trims trees, prunes shrubbery, and cultivates shrubs and flowers as needed.
- Responsible for seeing that daily assignments are completed in the respective areas, to meet Club standards.
- Due to the fluctuating demands of the Club's operation, it may be necessary that each Employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises and expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.
- Adhere to all company, club, and department written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc.
- Ability to work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time
- Ability to focus attention on detail.
- Responsible for maintaining good conduct and safe working habits in all areas of the Club
- Regular attendance and punctuality
