Under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent and the Assistant Superintendent a Golf Course Labourer is required to perform routine golf course maintenance

Common day-to-day maintenance practices include

• Mowing
• Cleaning and raking sand traps
• Golf course prep (tee area maintenance, moving pins, etc)
• Weed whipping Debris raking, blowing, and removal
• Golf course renovation projects
• Other various tasks as required by management

Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to)

• Maintain the golf course to exceptionally high standards with an attention to detail
• Operate riding machinery such as utility vehicles and mowers
• Operate hand-held tools and machinery
• Clean and rake sand traps
• Clean gardens and flower beds
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all staff
• Be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions

No experience necessary as training will be provided. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in landscaping, lawn care and operating machinery. Knowledge of the game of golf is a definite asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
