Kirby Links Golf Course and Driving Range is located in Vaughan, Ontario and offers a one-of-a-kind experience that is both fun and affordable. A short distance from Toronto, Kirby Links includes a 18-hole executive par 3 course and driving range with natural turf, offering golfers of all levels an authentic experience.

We are seeking a Golf Course Turf Maintenance individual to join our team for the 2024 golf season.

This position will require you to assist in providing quality playing conditions to our members and guests. You will work with our team, preparing the golf course on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Typical jobs include maintenance of greens, tees, fairways and rough, raking and maintenance of sand traps, operation of light equipment such as: push mowers, line trimmers, backpack blowers etc. Raking and removal of leaves and other debris from the course. Other job duties as requested by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This job is physically demanding and requires individuals to be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. As well as being able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed outdoors on the golf course with exposure to heat, cold, sun, wind, and rain. This includes very warm conditions during the summer months. Temperatures can range from the high 30’s in the peak of summer, to colder temperatures of 5 and below during fall months.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience working with landscaping equipment
  • On-site training provided
  • Previous golf course experience
  • Strong work ethic – hard working, good attitude, teamwork, and cooperation skills.
  • Strong communication skills – listening, understanding, and responding.
  • Commitment to working in a safe manner.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
  • This is a full-time seasonal position (April - November) - Monday to Friday (some weekends/holidays required as per scheduling)
  • 8-Hour shifts (start and end times may vary based on sunrise)
  • Hourly wages will be determined based on previous experience.
