Golf Course Maintenance

Be part of the team who prepares daily our 27 hole golf course for member and guest play.

With changes in management, new equipment, on-going improvement projects and a renewed focus on both the member and staff experience now is a great time to join the South Shore Harbour Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Maintains course playability and appearance by mowing, weeding, edging, set up and raking sand traps, laying sod, planting trees, shrubs and flowers
• Maintains the appearance of all green areas by changing cups, tee markers and tee towels, emptying trash containers, and maintaining ball washers
• Operates utility vehicles and equipment following company safety standards.
• Observes and reports to management any potential agronomic and maintenance equipment problem issues

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintains good working relationships with co-workers
• Helps maintain a safe and orderly maintenance shop
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Ability to work cooperatively with others
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
• Valid driver’s license

Previous golf course experience is preferred, but not required.

Hourly pay/ $12-$16/hour based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
