Job Posting: Sandpiper/Raven Crest Golf & Country Club Join Our Team! At Sandpiper/Raven Crest Golf & Country Club, we are committed to providing a top-tier golfing experience for our members and guests. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team in the following roles: 1. Second Assistant (Golf Course Operations) Location: Sandpiper/Raven Crest Golf & Country Club Position Type: Full-Time/Seasonal Key Responsibilities: • Assist the Golf Course Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent in daily operations. • Supervise and lead a team. • Perform maintenance and upkeep of the golf course, including greens, fairways, tee boxes, and bunkers. • Ensure the course is prepared for daily play. • Handle equipment maintenance and ensure safe operation. • Monitor and assist in irrigation and fertilization programs. • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests. Qualifications: • Previous golf course maintenance experience. • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team. • Knowledge of turf management practices is a plus. • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Strong communication and organizational skills. 2. General Maintenance Staff Location: Sandpiper/Raven Crest Golf & Country Club Position Type: Part-Time/Full-Time/Seasonal Key Responsibilities: • Perform general maintenance of golf course grounds and facilities. • Assist with the upkeep of landscaping, irrigation systems, and equipment. • Help with various maintenance tasks for golf carts, clubhouse, and amenities. • Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for members and guests. Qualifications: • Prior maintenance experience preferred but not required. • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (50lbs). • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude. 3. University and High School Students (Seasonal Positions) Location: Sandpiper/Raven Crest Golf & Country Club Position Type: Seasonal/Part-Time (Flexible Hours) Key Responsibilities: • Assist with course maintenance and operations. • Perform light landscaping and cleaning tasks. • Learn valuable skills in golf course management, landscaping, and customer service. Qualifications: • Must be a current high school or university student. • Enthusiasm for working outdoors and learning about golf course operations. • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. • Ability to work weekends as needed. • No prior experience necessary – we provide on-the-job training!
