Looking for a fun, physical and rewarding job for the summer of 2024?

Springbank Links Golf club is hiring for our 2024 golf season. We welcome applicants who will be upbeat, hardworking, dedicated, and enjoy being outside for the summer! We are a hardworking, fun team who knows how to get things done while making the most out of your work day. Employees will be a part of daily maintenance practices that will include all sorts of different skill sets to challenge you on a daily basis. Some work will be physically demanding and some will be mentally stimulating but with our great management staff we look forward to showing you the ropes to have a great summer!

Requirements

• Ability to learn tasks on the fly
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Positive work attitude
• Punctuality
• Transportation to and from the course
• Availability to work one day on the weekend (5 on 2 off work schedule)
• Ability to do physical labor
• A love for or the willingness to learn the game of golf! We have a staff golf tournament at the end of the year and staff golf together on a regular basis

Daily Tasks May Include:

• Operation of maintenance equipment
• Daily course set up
• Golf course projects
• General landscaping
• Watering

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4-6 months

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

• Calgary, AB (required)
