Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control to keep the course in optimal condition
- Oversee landscape maintenance projects such as planting, pruning, landscaping enhancements, and construction tasks to improve course aesthetics and functionality
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues promptly for healthy turf growth
- Lead tree care operations including pruning, removal, and health assessments to maintain safety and beauty of the course environment
- Train and mentor team members in lawn care techniques, horticulture practices, safety procedures, and equipment operation
- Conduct regular inspections of the course grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair and prioritize maintenance tasks accordingly
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment usage, and safety compliance to ensure efficient operations
- Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or golf course groundskeeping roles
- Strong background in landscaping, lawn care, horticulture, gardening or related fields with a focus on turf management
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation, operation, and troubleshooting
- Experience with construction projects related to course improvements or landscaping enhancements
- Familiarity with tree care practices including pruning and health assessments
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Hands-on experience with maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, aerators, and other landscaping tools
