Experteer Overview In this role you help maintain outdoor areas at L’auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles, supporting an attractive, safe environment for guests and staff. You’ll operate and service grounds equipment, perform routine planting and fertilization tasks, and assist in constructing or upgrading greens and landscapes. You work as part of a broader property team focused on hospitality excellence and sustainability. Your hands-on contribution keeps the grounds healthy, safe, and visually appealing, enabling a great guest experience. Compensation / Benefits • Mow greens, tees, aprons, and related areas; rake sand traps and edge paths • Operate mowers, trimmers, and other light equipment; maintain equipment and report issues • Set tee markers, cups, and maintain bins, towels, flags; clean debris and functions related to turf areas • Water, fertilize, and under supervision, spray chemicals on landscaped areas • Maintain irrigation and drainage systems including pipe repairs and backfills • Assist in construction and renovation of greens, tees, and fairways; lay sod and seed areas • Mark cart controls and hazards; manage signs and barriers for course safety • Assist with project work and general maintenance duties as assigned • Maintain confidentiality in company matters • Possess valid Driver’s License and ensure safe operation of equipment • Read and interpret safety and maintenance documents • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and external contacts • Follow departmental and property policies and procedures Tasks • Valid Driver’s License • Knowledge of grounds and landscape construction/maintenance methods and materials • Proficiency with hand and power tools, spray equipment, and mowing equipment • Ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment • English language proficiency • Ability to read and interpret safety and operating documents • Strong communication with staff and external contacts Key requirements • day-one medical coverage (vary by position) • 401(k) matching • annual performance bonus • wellness programs • paid time off based on policy
