*Job Summary *(Essential Functions) Maintain golf course Grounds and landscaping around the course *Job Tasks/Duties* 1. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. 2. Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. 3. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. 4. Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment that is typical of this position. 5. Related Titles: Landscaper, Golf Course Laborer; Practice Area Attendant; Groundskeeper; Landscape Gardener; Course Utility Worker; Section Person 6. Knowledge of irrigation systems. 7. Knowledge of and ability to perform the required role in emergency situations. 8. Plants and maintains ornamental shrubs and trees. 9. Trims and feeds shrubs and trees; removes cuttings. 10. Maintains landscape beds around clubhouse and club grounds. 11. Mows greens and fairways by operating walk-behind turf equipment. 12. Prepares soil plant beds and establishes plantings by seed or transplants. 13. Maintains annual and perennial flowers in aesthetic arrangements. 14. Loads and unloads materials. 15. Cleans equipment used in the practice area. 16. Aerifies and spikes greens. 17. Digs holes and trenches to maintain or construct irrigation and drainage lines. 18. Installs pipe and backfills excavations. 19. Pesticide Applicator certificate. 20. Physical Demands and Work Environment 21.
