Golf Instructor - Minneapolis, MN
This is a part-time position working 5-20 hrs./month. There is an opportunity for this role to grow with increased hours and demand.
HealthFitness is looking for a Golf Instructor in the downtown Minneapolis, MN! In this position, you will provide private, buddy and semi-private golf lessons for passionate golfers. You will also have the opportunity to structure and teach instructional courses for students of various skillsets (e.g. beginner, intermediate). Additionally, it is important for this position to have extensive knowledge of golf fundamentals (i.e. grip, stance, swing technique) as well as more advanced aspects of the sport (i.e. strategy, club selection). Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and/or buddy golf lessons in person, with a golf simulator program and/or virtually.
- Educate about the fundamentals of golf as well provide advanced instruction in regard to swing technique, golf strategy, etc.
- Assist with specialty programs, events, and instructional courses as needed.
- Assist in marketing the golf program as needed.
- Collect and evaluate program participation and revenue tracking accurately.
- A bachelor’s degree in fitness related field or 2 years of coaching experience. Golf certification is a plus. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
- Golf coaching and teaching experience, preferably at the college level.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
