Golf Instructor Position Details
Location: Naples, Maine
Dates: June 10 – August 13, 2026
Compensation: starting at $400 per week dependent on experience
Type: Seasonal, Full-Time, Live onsite

Golf Instructor Responsibilities
Teach and develop golf skills and fundamentals for campers ages 7–15
Co-lead a golf program with up to 100 children participating
Plan and carry out structured golf skills instruction, drills and activities for various ages and levels daily
Coach intra-camp and travel-team matches
Foster teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship among campers
Golf Instructor Qualifications
High-school or collegiate playing/coaching experience in golf
Strong leadership and communication skills
Enthusiastic, dependable, and enjoys working with children
Camp Takajo, located in Naples, Maine, is a summer's long overnight camp founded in 1947. Known for its emphasis on character building, Takajo blends top-tier athletics with a wide range of athletic, creative, outdoor, and skill-based activities. Counselors are selected for their warmth, integrity, and leadership. Takajo’s counselors create a supportive community where campers grow in sportsmanship, confidence, and independence.
