ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring for a full-time Golf Instructor to join our Golf Operations team. The Golf Instructor will be responsible for creating and executing an exceptional Golf instruction program from which all Members and guests benefit. This role will play an integral role in the overall success of the Club’s Golf program by assuring all Members and guests a positive instructional experience. This will be achieved through the development and promotion of instructional programs, creation and execution of player development programs, leading private and group instruction, management of the driving range, and assisting in Member and guest equipment needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Develop and promote Junior Golf programs
- Assist Director of Instruction in daily driving range set up and maintenance
- Conduct private and group instruction for all Members and guests
- Develop, organize, promote, schedule and conduct Golf instructional programs that meet Member demand and need
- Assist in growth of the Golf program by create player development programs that will foster interest and engagement
- Assist in Member equipment needs, including club fittings
- Mentor junior level Professionals in development of teaching and coaching skills
- Participate in Member rounds on a routine basis
- Maintain high level of involvement across entire Golf program, as instructed by Director of Golf and/or Head Golf Professional, and/or Director of Instruction
- Maintain professional expertise through related courses and learning opportunities in Golf instruction, player development and technology Maintain a high level of visibility and interaction with both Members and guests
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Experience playing the game of Golf, with demonstrated skillset required
- Prior experience teaching and coaching golfers required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must possess demonstrated knowledge of and ability in the game of Golf and all applicable rules
- Proficiency in tournament software, including but not limited to Eventman and Golf Genius
- Proficiency in Jonas POS software and ForeTees system, or ability to learn Club software systems
- Proficiency in utilizing USGA Admin Portal system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Publisher
- Must be self-motivated, with a demonstrated passion for Golf and desire to promote the Club’s Golf program Must maintain a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable presence at all time
PAY RANGE
$20.00 hourly compensation
