This would be seasonal position to start from April to November with the opportunity to stay on longer for the right individual.
Under the supervision from the Director of Golf or First Assistant Golf Professional the Assistant Golf Professional provides technical and managerial supervision of the facilities and staff as outlined. To assist in the promotion and execution of all golfing activities and operations.

Responsibilities:
- Teach the game of golf to clients of all ages in group and private settings
- Follow a curriculum of golf instruction with multiple groups
- Be diligent and trustworthy in overseeing large groups of children (up to twelve at a time)

- Knowledge of USGA rules, handicapping, course rating system, and the mechanics of the golf swing.
- Ability to coordinate and expedite golf activities.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with golf course staff and the public.
- Maintain a congenial rapport with all those he/she comes in contact with.
- Ability to react to change productively.
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent, plus one year experience working in a golf shop under a professional.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with golf course staff and the public in person, on phones, and other electronic mediums.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Registered Apprentice or Member of the PGA of America preferred not required
- Must possess a valid Drivers License.
- Computer abilities helpful.

- A combination of pro shop work and teaching on the range and course
- Ability to move around easily on the golf course.
- Intermittent exposure to heat, cold, wind, dust, wet conditions as are typical of a golf course.
- Intermittent exposure to stress as a result of human behavior.
