Full job description Position Summary
The Town of Breckenridge Golf Operations division is seeking dedicated and customer service oriented individuals for the position(s) of Golf Instructor I or II - Summer Seasonal. Individuals in these positions are responsible for private, junior, and group golf lesson instruction. The Instructor will promote and conduct golf instruction and player development programs to satisfy and meet the needs of the community. The instruction will be given with a high level of professionalism.
Placement in the Golf Instructor position is at the discretion of management and is generally based on organizational needs and candidate qualifications (see General Placement Information below).

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Typical Hiring Pay Ranges:
Golf Instructor I: $22.50 - $26.50 per hour.
Golf Instructor II: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is Summer Seasonal; Full-Time or Part-Time based on customer needs. Must be available to work from late May through September. Must be able to work shifts including mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, holidays, and up to 40 hours per week or as needed at the discretion of management.
This position is 'Open Until Filled'. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until suitable candidates are selected.

- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two (2) or more years of customer service experience required.
- One (1) or more years of experience working in a golf course setting.
- Must be available to work from late May through September.
- Golf Instructor I placement requires a minimum of two (2) years related experience or approved equivalent combination of education and experience. Instructor enrollment in the PGA or LPGA, Professional Golf Management program is preferred.
- Golf Instructor II placement requires possession of PGA or LPGA Class A membership or current enrollment in the PGA or LPGA Professional Golf Management program. Also a minimum of three (3) years related experience or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to interact with the public in a positive and professional manner.
- Experience with video instruction preferred.
- Experience with social media to promote services/programs desired.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Training and experience in customer service.
- Golf instruction courses and club fitting courses preferred.
