Birdie Central is a premium indoor golf clubhouse in Spring, TX, 0.6 miles from Gleannloch Pines Golf Club. We are building a roster of independent golf instructors who want a year-round, climate-controlled home for their teaching. You run your business: your prices, your schedule, your programs and your marketing. We provide the bays, the launch-monitor data, online booking and payment, and a spot on our lessons page, and we introduce you to our members and guests.
The facility: six simulator bays with Uneekor Eye XO2 launch monitors and 4K projection, including two private suites for one-on-one lessons and four open bays for clinics and groups. 24/7 access for vetted guests through keypad PIN entry lets you teach before and after staffed hours. Whoosh online booking, Square payments, a lounge with beer and wine service, and a growing member base that includes a Junior membership tier.
What you control: your lesson prices, packages and promotions; your schedule, with no minimum hours; your programs (private lessons, junior development, beginner and women's clinics, camps, school teams); and your marketing. Students you bring stay your clients, and the role is non-exclusive, so you can keep teaching elsewhere.
How pay works: independent contractor (1099) with no base pay. You set your lesson prices and keep 70% of lesson revenue (a minimum facility fee applies to lessons under $100 an hour). At $100 to $150 a lesson, that is $70 to $105 per lesson-hour to you (the pay range shown); actual earnings depend on your prices and bookings. Tips are 100% yours, and you earn a $20 bonus for each lesson student who becomes a full member.
What we provide: your profile on birdie-central.com/lessons with your bio, prices and booking link; online booking and payment through Whoosh, with payouts handled for you; an introduction on our social channels and to our members; your programs on our events calendar; a roster board in our lobby, with staff pointing guests who ask about lessons to the roster; and free off-peak practice time in open bays.
Who we are looking for: PGA or LPGA Members and Associates are preferred but not required; USGTF, college and high school coaches, and experienced teachers are welcome. You are comfortable teaching with launch-monitor data (Uneekor, TrackMan, GCQuad or similar) and video, you enjoy teaching juniors, beginners and improving players, not only low handicappers, and you want to build and market your own lesson business.
Before your first lesson: general liability insurance ($1M per occurrence) naming Birdie Central as additional insured, a background check before working with juniors, two professional references, a short demo lesson, a W-9 and a signed instructor agreement.
