The job will require long periods of standing and some heavy lifting so maintaining good physical health is important, having comfortable footwear will help in this regard. Working in extremes of heat, cold and rain may create physical discomfort without adequate pre-planning and preparation. Will need to be able to wok while wearing PPE, including masks and gloves

Position Summary - The Golf Guest Services Attendant is responsible to provide friendly and efficient service to our guests to ensure they have a great experience. To better ensure our guest experience the Guest Services Attendant may be required to provide service to clients beyond the regular responsibilities.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Will meet and greet all golfers as they arrive and depart
- Will work the afternoon shift predominantly, ie midday and end of day tasks
- Will provide rental equipment as required
- Is responsible for cleaning and storing rental equipment, including fueling of rental carts
- Is responsible for taking daily stock of rental equipment and reporting damaged or lost items
- Must communicate with the Golf shop and Player Assistants to enhance the guest experience
- Must be able to operate the range equipment in safe manner
- Is responsible for the general clean-up duties around the clubhouse and driving range
- Is responsible for the sanitizing of all the rental equipment, including power carts, clubs and pull carts
- Promote general health and safety of guests and staff in relation to the public health rules and regulations in place for the pandemic.
- Assist with clear directions for guest
- Co-operate and accept other assignments as and when required.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- Have a good knowledge of golfing and golf course environments
- Must be a strong communicator
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Two-way radio communication
- Driver’s license
- Enjoy building a sense of camaraderie in a team setting.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Genuine, professional and fun disposition, with a positive, “glass half full” outlook on life.
