Golf Groundskeeper for a mini golf and golf range
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our outdoor spaces. If you have a passion for landscaping and enjoy working outdoors, we would love to hear from you.
- Landscape and Maintenance:
- Assessing the site and understanding the requirements and aesthetic goals of the facility.
- Regularly maintaining the landscape by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and pruning and planting plants.
- Maintaining flower beds, including planting seasonal flowers and removing weeds.
- Turf Management:
- Maintaining and caring for the grass on the golf range and mini golf course.
- Mowing the turf regularly to keep it at the appropriate height for optimal playability.
- Implementing a fertilization and irrigation schedule to ensure healthy and lush grass growth.
- Conducting routine aeration and dethatching to promote proper soil health and drainage.
- Repairing damaged or worn-out turf areas through overseeding or sodding.
- Pest and Weed Control:
- Monitoring the golf range and mini golf course for pests, such as insects or rodents, and implementing appropriate pest control measures.
- Regularly inspecting and treating the turf and landscape areas for common weeds and implementing weed control strategies.
- Using environmentally friendly and safe pest control methods to protect the players and the environment.
- Irrigation Management:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of the turf, plants, and landscape.
- Monitoring weather conditions and adjusting the irrigation schedule accordingly to optimize water usage and prevent over or under watering.
- Equipment and Facility Maintenance: Maintaining and repairing gardening equipment and tools used for maintaining the golf range and mini golf course.
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to address any landscaping-related issues, such as drainage problems or erosion control.
- Assisting with general facility maintenance tasks as needed.
- Seasonal Preparation:
- Preparing the golf range and mini golf course for seasonal changes and events.
- Installing and maintaining seasonal decorations and landscape features.
- Planting and caring for seasonal flowers or plants to enhance the overall experience for visitors.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensuring that the landscaping activities adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect employees, players, and visitors.
- Adhering to local regulations and guidelines related to landscaping, pesticide use, and environmental protection.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
