The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a Golf Groundskeeper to be responsible for assigned grounds maintenance of the golf course. Operates small landscaping equipment (i.e. mowers, weed eaters, trimmers, edgers, etc.) and other specialized equipment in the general maintenance of all areas of the golf course grounds. Operates equipment utilizing proper safety standards and is knowledgeable about and utilizes procedural safety standards at all times.

Interviews may be conducted prior to the closing date, but no offer of employment will be extended until after the position closes. Once an official offer is extended and accepted, the candidate will be required to complete the federal Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 and will be contingent on satisfactory background screening results. The candidate will also be required to present acceptable and original documents to prove identity and authorization to work in the United States. Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three months of related experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Punctual individual with strong work ethics
- Ability to follow procedural safety standards when operating equipment
- Ability to work in a customer-based environment with effective customer service skills
- Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
- Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous golf course related experience
