Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and planting to keep the course visually appealing and safe for players.
- Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment efficiently and safely.
- Assist with irrigation system management to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Maintain the health of turfgrass by applying fertilizers, aerating soil, and managing pests in accordance with horticultural best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections of the course grounds to identify areas needing repair or improvement and perform basic gardening tasks.
- Support overall landscaping efforts by planting new vegetation, mulching beds, and maintaining flower displays.
- Use hand tools for detailed work around greens, bunkers, and pathways to ensure precision and quality standards are met.
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening or horticulture is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and ability to troubleshoot common issues is a plus.
- Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining course aesthetics and safety standards.
