Job Title: Seasonal Golf Course Grounds Laborer Location: Sunset Hills Country Club, Edwardsville, IL Department: Grounds Maintenance Reports To: Golf Course Superintendent Job Summary: The Golf Course Grounds Laborer is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course grounds, ensuring they are kept in excellent condition for both member play and special events. This position involves a variety of outdoor tasks, including trimming, landscaping, and other general maintenance duties to enhance the appearance and playability of the course. Key Responsibilities: · Mowing Greens · Push Mowing Areas · Trim and edge course features including trees, bushes, and flower beds. · Maintain bunkers by raking sand and ensuring they are free of debris. · Perform general cleanup of the golf course, including trash pickup, debris removal, and ensuring the course is always presentable. · Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment and performing tasks. Qualifications: · Strong attention to detail and work ethic. · Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor . High School and College students are welcome to apply Schedule: · Seasonal, One Weekend Day is required Wage: · $16 - $18 per hour, depending on experience.
