Full job description
Canyon River is looking for detail-oriented individuals who will provide excellent work quality. The HOA crew is responsible for all the outside yard maintenance of the homes that are located on the golf course. We are looking for mostly full-time workers to start this spring and to work through the summer. There may be some part-time work available as well. Start times fluctuate with daylight and weather. Pay is up to $16 an hour. Employees also receive golf benefits and discounts in the restaurant and pro-shop. Basic knowledge of lawn mowing and other yard maintenance is preferred but not required. We are looking for individuals who are interested in the work and will work well with our already established team. Responsibilities
- Mowing lawns
- Trimming along concrete curbing and walkways
- Fall cleaning duties (leaves, pine needles, trash)
- Weeding plant beds for homes and other areas around the HOA
- Pruning, shaping, and proper care for shrubs and trees
- Planting and Removing Shrubs
- Along with other routine yard and plant bed maintenance
- Ability to work well with others but also self-motivated
- Great communication skills
- Polite Customer Service Skills
- Time Management Skills
- Ability to follow directions accurately and efficiently
- Standard knowledge of lawn and plant bed maintenance
- Ability to safely operate standard tools such as: Weed eaters, back-pack leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and several different hand tools
Pay: $16.00 per hour
